A site-specific installation centered around a hand-built papier-mâché tree adorned with handmade lanterns and glowing flower petal light fixtures. Wrapped around its branches were Polaroids capturing “core memories” moments of presence, intimacy, and reflection collected within the space.
At its heart, the tree held a custom visual: a voxel-based cube projection that pulsed in response to the audio frequencies of a native Georgia bird, recorded on-site. This generative projection was built using TouchDesigner and designed to respond in real time, shifting rhythm and texture as guests moved through the installation.
Visitors were invited not just to observe, but to listen and attune their bodies to the layered rhythms of sound, light, and memory. The installation became a sensory conversation between human and nature, digital and organic, stillness and signal.
